Ford Australia has announced a Ranger XLT dual-cab chassis will join the line-up in December priced from $56,240 plus on-road costs.
 
Aside from the tray, the XLT dual-cab chassis mirrors the specification level of the tub version. Standard kit includes 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, DAB+, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and satellite navigation.
 
Further highlights include autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, emergency assist and the FordPass Connect app.
 
Buyers have two engine option to choose from starting with the familiar 3.2-litre five-cylinder turbo-diesel unit producing 147kW and 470Nm. It’s available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.
 
Ford is also offering the XLT dual-cab chassis with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder bi-turbo diesel unit offering 157kW and 500Nm, it’s exclusively matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
  
The Ranger XLT dual-cab chassis is available to order now with deliveries set to commence in December.
