Alfa Romeo has announced Australia will get 10 examples of the 4C Competizione Limited Edition priced from $119,900 plus on-road costs.

The 10 Australian bound units is a sizeable allocation given only 108 examples will be available globally.

4C Competizione variants are differentiated by Vesuvio Matte Grey paint with a unique bonnet and roof livery, an exposed carbon-fibre roof, along with carbon-fibre mirror covers, side air intakes and rear spoiler.

There are also rear brake calipers sitting behind mixed five-hole dark alloy wheels with 18-inch rims and the front and 19-inch at the rear wrapped in Pirelli racing tyres.

On the inside, the sports seats are trimmed in black leather/microfiber with red contrasting stitching, a sports leather steering wheel, limited edition badging and an upgraded Alpine sound system with subwoofer.

The 1.75-litre turbocharged petrol engine offering 177kW and 350Nm is carried over from the regular car. It’s paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends drive to the rear wheels. Alfa Romeo claims the 4C can sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds on the way to a top speed of 258km/h.

The 4C Competizione Limited Edition is available now.
