Audi has announced the arrival of Q5, SQ5 and SQ7 Black Edition models which feature a range of style and equipment upgrades.

As the name suggests black highlights will differentiate the Black Edition models from their siblings.

Q5 versions are available as a 45 TFSI or 50 TFSI and feature 21-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint, S line exterior package with illuminated S line front door sill trims, privacy glass and high-gloss titanium black exterior highlights, which includes black mirrors and roof rails.

Internally the Q5 Black Edition gets an ambient light package with 30 selectable colours, as well as heated front seats (already standard in the Q5 50 TDI) and a flat-bottom, multi-function steering wheel.

Enhancing the SQ5 Black Edition is a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, head-up display and an extended upholstery package.

Added to the Audi SQ7 Black Edition is metallic paint, carbon-fibre mirror housings and interior inlays, high-gloss titanium black exterior package, 22-inch Audi Sport wheels, panoramic sunroof and seats with diamond pattern contrasting stitching.

Audi claims the upgrades represent between $12,000 and $17,000 worth of additional features depending on the model.
