In response to the COVID-19 global outbreak Hyundai C A R E has been launched, a warranty extension policy applicable to more than 1.21 million passenger vehicles worldwide.

The program aims to support customers who may have difficulty in getting their vehicle repaired due to restricted access to services centres as a result of the global pandemic.

Hyundai C A R E applies to passenger vehicles with original warranties that are due to expire from 1st March 2020, roughly 27,000 vehicles in Australia. These warranties will be extended until 31st May 2020.

Unfortunately, commercial vehicles such as the iLoad are not covered by the program.

“We appreciate that many of our customers may have limited access to vehicle servicing during these extraordinary times,” said Mr Jun Heo, Hyundai Australia CEO.

“With Hyundai C A R E, we wish to set their minds at ease regarding eligibility for warranty repairs and related services in the coming months. Not only do we care about our customers’ health and safety, we aim to remove the added stress where customers are unable to have repairs completed before their vehicle’s warranty expires.”

Hyundai will be contacting eligible customers separately with more details about the program.
