Peugeot Australia will offer free upgrades from the Active to the Allure trim level on the 208 and 308 until the end of June.

For 208 customers the free upgrade adds $3000 worth of extra kit which includes satellite navigation, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, a cooled glovebox, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, leather-trimmed steering wheel with 3D-mesh cloth interior and chrome exterior highlights package with ‘equaliser’ grille and cornering lamps.

Included in the $5000 spec upgrade for the 308 is active blind spot monitoring and city park (self-park), sports seats covered in a mix of Alcantara and leatherette, keyless entry with electric folding mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, LED headlamps and an electronic park brake.

All 208 and 308 models will feature the autonomous emergency braking as standard.

Found in both cars is a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 81kW in the 208 and 96kW in the 308. A six-speed automatic transmission will also be found in each hatch.

The 208 hatch in the Allure trim level has a list price of $24,990 while the 308 Allure is listed at $31,990 (prices exclude on-roads).

2017-built 2008, 3008 and 5008 SUV models will be offered with a seven-year warranty and seven years roadside assistance.

The offer, dubbed ‘delicious deals’ will run until June 30, or while stocks last.
