Only two vehicle recall notices have been issued this week, coming from Toyota and Bentley.

From Toyota, 2019-2020 Yaris Hybrid (MXPH10) and 2020 Yaris Cross Hybrid (MXPJ10 & MXPJ15) vehicles have been recalled (VINs found here).

It has been found that, due to improper application of anti-corrosion prevention agent, the hybrid transmission may develop an abnormal slip condition during rapid acceleration which may cause the vehicle to shudder and warning lights to illuminate.

Parts to rectify this issue are expected to be available from February this year. Toyota will write to known owners to advise of the recall and again when parts are available to have the issue rectified, free of charge.

The second and final recall notice this week comes for 2020 Bentley Continental GT Convertible vehicles (VINs found here).

In affected vehicles, the convertible roof can be activated using the key fob at distances greater than six meters which could cause a hazard to other vehicles and bystanders if there is a restricted view of the vehicle and surrounds.

Known owners can expect to be contacted via mail by Bentley to rectify the issue with an update.
