A single recall notice has been issued this week concerning 2020 Kia Stinger vehicles (VINs found here) which may have an issue where a plastic burr may have remained after the moulding process of the fuel pump’s jet nozzle housing was completed.

This may lead to the fuel pump’s jet nozzle becoming blocked which, in turn, may lead to an insufficient supply of fuel to the engine. An insufficient fuel supply could lead to the vehicle losing power or stalling.

Kia will contact known owners by mail advising of the recall notice. Customers should organise a free inspection and repair of their vehicle with their preferred dealer.
