Taking the shine off the festive season for some were recall notices from Ferrari and Nissan.

The first recall comes for 2017-2020 Ferrari 812 Superfast vehicles (VINs found here) due to incorrect bonding of the rear window which may allow the rear window glass to detach from the rear hood and become a hazard and cause injury.

Affected owners should contact their preferred Ferrari dealership to arrange for a replacement rear window glass to be fitted free of charge.

The final recall notice comes for 2020 Nissan Juke F16 vehicles (VINs found here) which have been provided with a jack that does not comply with the mandatory standard for vehicle jacks.

As per the 'Trade Practices Act 1974 Consumer Protection Notice No. 1 of 2010 Consumer Product Safety Standard for Vehicle Jacks', the jack label does not include the required safety markings showing the model or model designations of vehicles the jack is intended to be used with.

Nissan will contact known owners in writing and advise that contact needs to be made with a preferred Nissan dealer to arrange for the correct label to be attached to the jack.
