Holden has announced the availability of new Storm special editions of the Colorado ute and Trailblazer SUV.

The Colorado Storm is priced from $53,990 drive-away which represents a premium of $2000 over the donor LTZ model, Holden claims the special edition adds $4800 of extra kit.

Buyers will pay $54,990 drive-away for the Trailblazer Storm which is also $2000 more than the LTZ variant. Holden claims there’s an additional $3400 of included equipment.

Colorado Storm models get a front LED light bar, a black nudge bar, a black sports bar, roof rails, a bonnet protector, a soft-drop tailgate and unique Storm decals.

The Trailblazer Storm features an LED light bar, a black nudge bar, a body-coloured rear spoiler, a restyled rear diffuser, unique badging on the front doors, and Trailblazer lettering across the bonnet.

Four exterior colours are available: black, grey, and two white options.

Power comes from the familiar 2.8-litre four-cylinder Duramax turbo-diesel engine producing 147kW and 500Nm. It’s matched to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends the torque to Holden’s four-wheel drive system.

Holden is also offering seven years of free scheduled servicing until December 31.
