Specs and pricing have been announced for the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A250 sedans which complete the new A-Class range.
 
The A250 is priced from $53,000 plus on-road costs, while the A250 4Matic starts from $59,200 plus on-roads.
 
Standard equipment for the A250 includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a chrome-look exhaust system, push-button start, climate control airconditioning, the latest-generation sports steering wheel, a rear-view camera, wireless smartphone charging, active brake assist, active lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition and adaptive high-beam assist.
 
There’s also the MBUX infotainment system comprising two 10.25-inch screens, satellite navigation, voice control, DAB digital radio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a 225-watt nine-speaker sound system.
 
Along with AWD, moving up to the A250 4Matic adds the keyless go system, comfort sports seats trimmed in Dinamica microfibre, brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs, ambient lighting featuring 64 colours, red contrast stitching, a Nappa leather steering wheel and a panoramic glass sunroof.
 
Externally, the A250 4Matic is differentiated by AMG body styling on the front and rear aprons and side sill panels, a diamond radiator grille, rear privacy glass, sports direct steering, perforated front brake discs and lowered comfort suspension.
 
Both sedans feature 420 litres of boot space with the rear seats in place, an increase of 50 litres over the hatch. The sedan also gets a 950mm wide boot opening for easy loading of larger items.
