Mini Australia has announced the arrival of the Countryman Stafford Edition along with a new online configurator and order process.

 

Inspired by Mini’s motorsport heritage, the latest special edition features John Cooper Works aesthetic details both inside and out and the addition of luxury and sports packages as standard, tallying savings of $4000 on the Cooper and $7000 on the Cooper S.

 

Priced from $47,500 plus on-road costs, the Countryman Cooper Stafford Edition includes 18-inch JCW alloy wheels, carbon black sports seats, piano black interior trim, an anthracite headliner and JCW exterior styling kit.

 

The Cooper S Countryman Stafford Edition (from $54,900 plus on-road costs) adds a panoramic sunroof, climate package, sun protection glazing and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

 

Buyers can select from four metallic paint options: Midnight Black, Light White, Chili Red, Island Blue.

 

Cooper variants are powered by a three-cylinder engine offering 100kW/220Nm, while the Cooper S uses a 141kW/280Nm four-cylinder unit. Both cars use a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to send power to the front wheels.

 

Mini has also deployed a new online configurator for the Stafford Edition Countryman which customers can use to spec their car. Buyers can then place a deposit and arrange delivery with their nearest dealership.
