Local specs and pricing have been announced for the updated 2021 Kia Cerato hatchback and sedan range which has already started arriving in showrooms.
Kia is continuing to offer S, Sport, Sport+ and GT grades with prices starting from $25,490 plus on-road costs.
The updated Cerato is distinguished by revised headlights, grille and front bumper, along with new LED daytime running lights.
Sedan variants gain fresh tail-lights as well as tweaks to the boot and rear bumper.
The entry-grade Cerato S gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while higher grades stick with the wired set-up but feature a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Lane-following assist, rear occupant alert and rear air vents are now included as standard across the range.
Powertrains have been carried over from the outgoing model. The S, Sport and Sport+ variants are powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 112kW of power and 192Nm of torque. It’s matched to a six-speed automatic transmission as standard. There is no longer a manual option.
