The Lamborghini SC18 has been revealed overnight, based on the Aventador, the car is the first one-off special edition undertaken by Squadra Corse.

Designed in synergy with the customer and Centro Stile Lamborghini, the unique example is road approved but designed for the track. It offers a look at what could be possible in the way of personalized development projects for motorsport customers under the Squadra Corse brand.

Aerodynamic features have been developed specifically for the SC18 and derive from Squadra Corse’s competition experience. Elements include air intakes similar to the Huracan GT3 EVO, fenders, fins and air scoops inspired by the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO.

A large carbon fibre wing with three mechanical adjustments and twelve air intakes on the rear hood area are also included to increase heat exchange and improve cooling for the V12 engine. There are also specific exhausts and terminals with a unique design and sound at the rear.

The car sits on single nut 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear, they’re wrapped in specifically developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres and feature a telemetry system to measure all aspects of performance on the track.

Adding to the exclusiveness of the SC18 is the Grigio Daytona (grey) colour of the carbon fibre body.

Internally the cockpit is dressed with Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with cross-stitching in Rosso Alala (red), with carbon-fibre bucket seats.

Providing the power is same 6.5-litre V12 found in the Aventador SVJ, it’s been tuned to deliver 567kW at 8500rpm and 720Nm at 6750rpm and is paired with the brand’s seven-speed gearbox.

Performance figures for the SC18 haven't been released, however, the Aventador SVJ accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 350km/h.
