Only one vehicle recall has been issued this week and it’s from Maserati in relation to an issue with fuel lines.

Maserati Ghibli and Quattroporte vehicles sold between September 1, 2013, and June 1, 2015, which run on petrol need to visit a dealer to check the fuel lines which may have been damaged during the manufacturing process.

If the fuel lines were damaged during manufacturing, they may leak fuel which could potentially ignite and lead to an engine fire.

Maserati will be contacting known owners by mail and requesting they contact their preferred dealer to arrange for the vehicle to be fixed free of charge. A list of affected vehicles can be found using the VIN here.
