Renault Australia has announced the Koleos SUV range will now come with a seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty and three years of free scheduled servicing.
Announcing the change Renault Australia Managing Director Anouk Poelmann said the locally-led decision was made to provide even greater motivation for Australians purchasing the best-selling Koleos range.
“When you see a Renault Koleos on the road it's instantly appealing to the eye, what I want now is for more Australians to truly see the value of this exciting and attractive SUV,” Poelmann said.
“I want to motivate Australians to be proud about the vehicle they choose to drive. It should not just get them from A to B it should inspire them whenever they walk towards it, stimulate them whenever they are inside it, and most of all it should encourage them to get out and enjoy their life.”
According to Renault, the three-year free scheduled servicing offer will provide customers with a real-world saving of up to $1107 over three years.
Buyers should note, the Koleos offers a class-leading service interval of 30,000km or 12 months (whichever comes first). Rival brands offer intervals ranging between 10,000km to 15,000km.
“The Australian Automotive industry yearly kilometre average of 13,400km means non-Renault SUV owners often need more than one trip to the service department each year.
This can add a considerable cost to drivers over the ownership period, and means our longer servicing intervals provide both cost and convenience benefits to Australian Koleos owners every year,” Poelmann added.
The seven-year warranty is exclusive to the Koleos range, Renault’s other models, the Captur, Clio, and Megane (GT and RS) get a five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty, while the Clio RS and van line-up get three-year/unlimited kilometre coverage.
